Why Google Employees Quit

Previous Google employees share their reasons for quitting.  Just goes to show that no job is perfect.

Those of us who failed to thrive at Google are faced with some pretty serious questions about ourselves. Just seeing that other people ran into the same issues is a huge relief. Google is supposed to be some kind of Nirvana, so if you can’t be happy there how will you ever be happy? It’s supposed to be the ultimate font of technical resources, so if you can’t be productive there how will you ever be productive?

Will the real Obama please stand up

A shy photographer from Indonesia is suddenly very popular because he looks exactly like President Obama (I love typing that).

And he admits that all the attention has given him something of a boost. "I'm actually a shy person. I don't like being put in the spotlight.

"I see my resemblance to Obama as a blessing. I used to look at the mirror and I had a negative perception of myself."
